Ring Ouzel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The ring ouzel regularly returns to Upper Swaledale. They nest on or close to the ground and in rocky crevices. Our heather moorland, ancient dry stone walls and abandoned tumbling buildings suit them well. The ring ouzel is on the red conservation list. Upper Swaledale is good place to observe them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
