During winter there can be snow on the hills and over the tops anywhere in Swaledale These photos were taken at the top of the dale, 2 miles west of Keld. If you are the adventurous type you may like to explore but be sure you have the right gear; good boots, waterproof coat & trousers, hat, gloves & walking poles and make sure you tell somewhere where you are going and how long you expect to be out.
