Staying in the Shepherd’s Hut is unforgetable. The space is small but the experience is mega! Huge skies, masses of space, nothing but bird song to break the silence.

There are no cooking facilities in the Shepherds Hut (just a kettle & toaster) but don’t let that stop you being creative. There are plenty artisan food producers in the area who will provide you with everything from afternoon-tea-in-a-box to complete meals to takeaway. Or keep it simple and have fish & chips. We have excellent fish & chip shops in Kirkby Stephen and Hawes. Stop on the side of the road as you come over the moors and take in yet another amazing view.
