The Barn Owl Trust told my story in their magazine https://pryhousefarm.blogspot.com/2014/04/barn-owl-rescue-story-in-print.html I have had many encounters with owls since. A lady from the USA told me that the native American indian would say that because I saved the barn owl’s life, the owl is now my totem. I like that idea!

We have had short eared owls born on home field but the most amazing encounter was the barn owl observing us through the kitchen window! Not the best photo but worth sharing, I think.
